The Sennheiser ME 36 is a robust mini shotgun microphone capsule which is equipped with a connector for the MZH goosenecks. This microphone can be discretely positioned, thanks to its small size. It is equipped with a very wide frequency range, is highly directional and insensitive to background noise. All of these properties make the ME36 well suited for a wide range of locations and applications: in conferences and studios, and for broadcasting an AV purposes. The Sennheiser ME 36 is available in three colours: white, Nextel (grey) and this black version.

ME 36: rugged and discrete

The Sennheiser ME 36 mini shotgun microphone capsule is encased in a solid, metal housing, which ensures that it can take a knock and also makes it ideal for recordings on location. You can screw the capsule directly on one of the many different Sennheiser MZH goosenecks. The high-quality screw thread won't break anytime soon, as it is very durable. The capsule is so small, that it can be placed very discretely in combination with the 15cm long MZH 3015 gooseneck, making it ideal for lectures and presentations.

Impressive specs

The Sennheiser ME 36 has a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and a very low self-noise of only 23 dB. Additionally, it has a hyper-cardioid pickup pattern, which allows you to aim it precisely and prevent background noise from being picked up. All of these properties ensure that only the vocals or the instrument that you are aiming the shotgun at, will be recorded beautifully.
